Here, in the USA, we are celebrating our national holiday of Thanksgiving. It is a time to gather with friends and family to feast, and to reflect upon the blessings that each of us has been given. Gratitude, expressed on a daily basis, is often sadly neglected during the rest of the year; particularly in times of stress and uncertainty.
Last year, the majority of the American populations experienced smaller, and more home-bound celebrations than usual. 2020 became the year of Thanksgiving observances without the joy of extended family and friends … except perhaps through video chats. The Covid restrictions and warnings had put so much fear in the hearts of many, that gathering together was considered to be a threat. This year, the vax propaganda led the people into believing that getting the jab would assure “normalcy of life”; while the unvaxed would be remain a threat; requiring separation and distance from the vaxed. Thus, 2021’s Thanksgiving would also have the black clouds of division, fear, and separation hovering over it. A recent poll revealed that 30% of the people questioned about their celebration this year, declared that the unvaxed family and friends would again be excluded from their gatherings. How sad it is that the narrative of fear and fake science continues to have the power over common sense, truth, and wisdom. The reality is that hospitals here (and around the world) primarily have the vaxed people filling their rooms as patients right now. Breakthrough variants are being blamed on the unvaxed, while the reality of vax injuries and antibody enhancement disease, caused by the jabs, are being hidden, or ignored to sustain the narrative. We all had hoped that this nightmare would end BEFORE this year’s holiday season. It appears that, while we are grateful for the sustaining hand of the Lord upon our lives, we will have this wicked false narrative attacking our world, and threatening truth and our freedom, for a while longer.
While we all want this scenario to come to an end, it appears that the Lord needs for it to continue for a time, until all the evil, that has been hidden from us, is finally exposed to the masses. This agony of lies and control will continue to have power until we, in the Body of Messiah, come to grips with the REASONS regarding HOW we got to this terrible place. For far too long, we have lived in distracted, self-satisfied oblivion, or unconcern, about the advance of evil, because of our failure to rise up to take the high ground in our governments, in our social institutions and in our businesses. Many didn’t like the practice of abortion, but most sidestepped the truth about its reality in from YHVH’s perspective. The good news is that NOW, the people are waking up. Eyes are opening and minds are beginning to grasp the actualities of these wicked powers that have sneaked into high positions to perpetrate destruction upon our nations. For that exposure of truth, and for the subsequent awakening, we can be very THANKFUL. We have quite a way to go yet toward accomplishing a full awakening; but that Lord is unfolding that right now as we repent and arise into directed action against evil.
Probably, most of us, over the past several months, have cried out to the Lord, asking: “Father, how long will this Covid horror of control, genocide, and lies continue to roll over us and the world?” I know that I have posed that question to the Almighty One on several occasions. His response has always been: “As long as it is needed to fulfill the purposes for which I allowed it to happen.” Through it all, YHVH has been encouraging us, and strengthening us, while He has been testing and growing us. One night last week, the Lord gave me a short dream that let me know that His schedule is still on course, and that we still have our role to play in the outworking of this scenario. Here is the dream:
DREAM: Friday, 6:00 AM, November 19th, 2021
In the dream, I was sitting around a table with a company of believers. The room wasn’t exceptionally big, but the presence of the Lord, flowing out of the hearts of the people in that room, felt huge. We had been sharing a meal and some conversation, when, all of a sudden, the room went pitch black. All the physical light was gone. I put my hand up in front of my face, but could see nothing. The room was as silent as it was dark. I spoke up and said: “It’s OK! This must happen to fulfill the purposes of the Lord. Each one of us possesses a light. Now is the time to bring out that light, and to turn it on … to show the world the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” My handbag was sitting on my lap. I reached into it in the darkness, and immediately put my hands on a small flashlight that I always carry with me. I pulled out the little light and turned it on. It was amazing how comforting it was in that total darkness! Because of that tiny light shining, others found flashlights and candles, and lit them. Very quickly we had created a room full of light that I knew must now move beyond those walls, and out into the world’s darkness. I awakened from the dream, fully alert, and feeling as if I had actually experienced that event in real life/real time. My mind was filled with a song containing these words: “There is One God … Yehovah’s His name! He will not give His glory to another, nor His praise!”

I couldn’t go back to sleep because the song was so loud and strong in my spirit. I began to sing along with it while still in my bed. It kept on repeating for several hours after that. The images of the dream remained etched on my memory. In the midst of that experience, my heart was filled with joyful expectation. I knew that something was coming that would present a greatly increased darkness, but that all would be well. This would be the time for the Remnant Body of Messiah to light up and to show the way to the Lord. The people will be terrified, desperate, and searching for light and comfort. We will be the conveyors of those things. In the process, the Kingdom will advance and the revival will come. In the worst of times, it will be the best of times, for those, who live in, and who walk with, the Lord.
Now is the time to raise up our worship, our praise and our thanksgiving for all that YHVH HAS DONE … IS DOING … AND WILL DO. He has EVERYTHING in His hands. But beyond WHAT He has done, we need to honor and glorify Him for WHO HE IS. His character, His reality, His qualities, His heart are all indicated in the fullness of His name. Let’s praise and thank Him now, as we await His coming deliverance from all this evil in our world.
Keep in mind that His name is the reality of WHO HE IS, as well as WHAT HE DOES. Praise and thank His for each aspect of WHO HE IS. Acknowledge and thank Him, specifically, for how He has been manifested in these characteristics within your own life and experience. These truths about Him, will sustain us in the dark days ahead, and assure us of the breakthrough by His hand. Decree it and thank Him for it.

In summary then: Our God, YHVH is completely self-existing … He is/has eternal/perpetual life and has everlasting existence … He is forever unchangeable. He is the GREAT I AM … the Forever Alive One … the Perfectly Able One … the One, who at any time can do whatever He desires with no limitations (except that He chooses to put upon Himself the requirement that He will not break His word).. YHVH (Yehovah) is the God, who reveals Himself, and who expresses Himself in the important spiritual and moral qualities that He longs for us to express. YHVH reveals His love, which is the authentic expression of WHO HE IS. His love is connected with all His moral and spiritual qualities and characteristics. He gives us wise and righteous laws and statutes. He enables us, teaches/guides us, and shows us how to live in His reality … personally, deeply, and authentically. In mercy He reveals the consequences of our disobedience/rebellion, and grants generous rewards for obedience and divine love manifested in our lives that reflect Him.
We read in scripture that the depths of the Lord’s reality are unknowable in its fullness. Isaiah 6:2-6 and Revelation 4: 7-10 describe the seraphim eternally circumventing the throne of YHVH; giving Him worship; announcing His holiness, along with newly revealed qualities of His reality with each round. We will never know the fullness of WHO He is, nor the magnificence of His full name. However, on this Thanksgiving, and in the difficult days ahead, we can honor, thank and glorify Him for what He has revealed to us, given to us, and done for us. We are so blessed by Him. Let’s begin there and continue to discover Him, and to worship Him, throughout all eternity. There is SO MUCH IN HIM and FROM HIM to be thankful for. His name is our strong tower that we can run into to find Safety, Victory, Truth, Wholeness, and Light against the encroaching darkness … and for so much more. We are so deeply blessed to know Him … and for Him to love us so eternally. He has given us such a precious salvation for all of eternity. How can we fail to give Him thanks and praise? How can we fail to love Him with all that we are, and all that we have? How can we reject His love and abandon His truth? How can we allow the encroaching evil, which is threatening to rob His harvest, and to crush those, whom He loves? It’s time to put actions to our prayers and to our faith. May He transform us more into HIS CHARACTER, so that we can more effectively reflect the glory of His name!
