As you are well aware, the rhetoric and actions surrounding the Presidential election and the Biden/Democrat-led coup are intensifying. Sorting out the truth buried in the on-going propaganda war (with deliberate lies from both sides – that’s a separate discussion if you’re interested) has become very challenging. Even normally credible sources are active in the propaganda warfare, deliberately spreading misinformation to confuse their adversaries.
That said, I’ve been holding back on sending you what I’ve been hearing, in hopes of getting a higher confidence on what to share. We’re in what I’ve been calling a “Hurricane Conundrum.” When a hurricane is being forecast, it’s exact location and time of arrival is far from certain. As it approaches, each person potentially in the path must decide to make preparations or simply hope it misses them.
These are my current thoughts for your consideration:
1. There is credible reason to expect that Monday, 1/18/21 is likely to be when the Trump administration takes overt action to undo the Biden/Democratic-led coup
2. That would obviously result in violent actions by the anarchists (Antifa, BLM, other radical socialists), potentially overtly backed by help from China, some EU nations, and maybe Russia.
3. If the foreign countries participate, the level of violence will be intense and involve significant weapons of war, perhaps including weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
4. Martial law is likely to be invoked, which could be by region (large cities) or nation-wide, and evolve as dictated by the circumstances.
5. Credible sources suggest that the internet and cell phone signals may be temporarily shut down to block communications by the anarchists. You’ve probably noticed that there has been recent increased testing of the Federal “Emergency Alert System” that replaced the “Emergency Broadcast System.”
6. If the internet is taken down for a few days, credit cards will be useless, so some extra cash on hand is always wise.
7. In our area, essential items (toilet paper, canned food, off-the shelf medicine, etc.) have been again in short supply during the past few weeks, so make sure you have what you need to get by for at least several days. Extra batteries and similar items should also be included in what you have stored. Our fellow citizens are not naive, and many are preparing of the “hurricane.”
8. The price of gasoline has gone up quickly in our area (perhaps in anticipation of the turmoil ahead), so fill up your gas tank this weekend. Be prepared to pay with cash is necessary.
9. If next week is quiet, the extra items that you buy can always be consumed later.
10. Be extra cautious about any travel on Monday and the rest of next week.
Isaiah 26:20-21 (NKJV) is amazingly relevant for the potential storm: “Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain.”
