This is the time of year when fall colors begin to emerge and some trees begin to lose their garments.  Its cooler weather and we bring out our warmer clothing.  Here in California we get the Santa Ana winds and it can be dreadful if fires break out.  Because we have had so little rain in recent years the brush is dry and the land is parched.
